Different Dimensional Marriage Campaign

Non-edited version

Since last week, a Japanese man is collecting signatures for a bizarre campaign he proposes. He requires Japanese government to permit the marriage with anime characters, legally.

details

We are not interested in three-dimensional world anymore.
If possible, we wanna be citizens of two-dimensional world.

However, it won't come true with the science technology nowadays.
Then, don't you permit the marriage with two-dimensional characters?

If it comes true, I (proposer of this campaign ) will marry with Asahina Mikuru."

And he aims to collect 1,000,000signatures for this campaign.

--
It looks there are lot of legal issues he has to overcome to realize this project.

First of all, he has to worry about the problem of double marriage.

Now he wants to marry to Asahina Mikuru ( I remember she is a famous character of Suzumiya Haruhi series), but at least, I guess there are 10,000 hentais or more in this world who think like that. Unfortunately, Japanese current law don't permit double marriage.

And if he could marry to the anime character he loves somehow, then the another legal problem appears. When somebody marries in Japan and the wife doesn't work, people can apply for a tax deduction, and the amount deducted reduces one's tax drastically. If Japan's government permit this kind of marriage, it will have to suffer from the more serious financial problem.

And most importantly, the proposer is young, and doesn't know how the marriage in reality is. I mean, what for?

Of course, I won't say like a child, “You can't have a baby!!”. I know the marriage in modern days is not always for that purpose as it was in feudal era.

Young people tend to think that marriage is a kind of hopeful, dreamy, wonderful engagement between the people in love. But old people who experienced hardship know, marriage is just a temporary tag team to support each other.

What do they do for their wives? And what do their wives do for them? At least, when you got sick, it's sure the anime characters worn't help him both financially and physically. And when you are sixty-four and become a patient of Alzheimer's disease, the wife in 2D world just smiles from the poster on the wall and you will just die on the bed with the shits and pukes around you.

(*Some may say that even a three dimensional wife sometimes treats her husband like that, though.)

I think the person started this project influenced by the campaign for the same-sex marriage. But different from homosexual persons who have to endures some disadvantages because their marriage is not permitted legally, the person who loves anime characters so badly doesn't have any problems even if he is not married. His wife doesn't have to nurse his husband in hospital. He doesn't hold a funeral for him. And his wife doesn't have to inherit his property.

So, I think this campaign is just ridiculing the persons who requires the right of marriage seriously. Unfortunately, the current prime minister of Japan is interested in two-dimensional world so badly, but I wish Mr Ass-Hole won't take this campaign into consideration even if this campaign could collect signatures from 10,000,000 anime otakus in Japan.
